Sports CalendarMay 9 - The Bay of Quinte Invitational track meet will be the PECI Panthers last tuneup before the Bay of Quinte finals May 14. Friday's meet starts at 9 p.m. at Centennial Secondary School.May 10 - The third annual pitch, hit, and run competition takes place at the Wellington ball diamond. The competition is between 3-5 p.m. with practice starting at 2 p.m. Participants aged 7-14 have a chance to compete free of charge to possibly advance in this Major League Baseball sanctioned event.
